Diana,
ReplyDeleteI know these are your final targets and all, but as I read through them I wanted to make some suggestions that I didn't think of when I read your draft. Instead of having the students just classify triangles by their sides and angles in target #3. How about having them correctly draw acute, right, and obtuse triangles using protractors. This brings them from just labeling them to actually applying what they know. Then for target #5, how about having the students finding the perimeter of a regular polygon with using different formulas(l+w+l+w, 2(l)+2(w), 4(length of a side) for a square). I am trying to find ways to help you reach higher levels of thinking for your students. Hope this helps. I really like your new additions of pictures.
Excellent work. My only comment is how about "Student can calcultate..." for these two?
